ABOUT THE DARING WAY™

The Daring Way™ is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of
Dr. Brené Brown. The method was designed for work with individuals, couples, families, work teams, and organizational leaders. It can be facilitated in clinical, educational, and professional settings. During the process we explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. We examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding us back and we identify the new choices and practices that will move us toward more authentic and wholehearted living. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing daily practices that transform the way we live, love, parent, and lead.

The Daring Way™ is a 12 session Psycho-Educational curriculum developed to help individuals and organizations work through what is getting in the way of showing up fully to our lives, our work, our passions and our relationships.

The Daring Way™ is presented in a multi-media, multi-disciplinary format to support different learning styles. Activities and content formats will include: lectures, video clips from Brené Brown, in-group discussion, worksheets, letter-writing and experiential group process.

Each session can range anywhere from half an hour to two hours, depending on the level of interest and the level of processing we choose to engage in. The workshops can be done in an intensive format over two or three, eight hour days, or spread out over six to eight weeks in two hour long groups.
